Our expertise in custom framing extends to crafting frames for canvas, jerseys, needlework, posters, paintings, artwork, and mirrors. With meticulous attention to detail, we ensure each piece is uniquely showcased.
Crafting a custom frame usually takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the frame size, molding delivery, and matting. The timeline allows us to ensure that your framing meets our high standards.
To professionally frame a picture, we recommend adding matting around your artwork, using non-standard molding, and opting for high-quality glazing to protect your photo. Our expert team will guide you through these options and provide recommendations tailored to your needs.
We craft our frames by meticulously cutting wood molding with a saw framing miter to fit your photo perfectly. The glass is also carefully cut using a Fletcher 3000 or a glass tool. For installation, we provide a comprehensive hanging kit, which includes a sawtooth hanger or D-ring with a wire.
When it comes to frame styles and colors, the choice depends largely on your personal taste. Modern style typically involves flat profile frames in basic black, white, or wood tones. Traditional framing, on the other hand, involves classic gold picture frames with design on the frame with a slight U shape design or scoop molding profile.
Choosing between glass and acrylic frames depends on the size of the frame and its location. For frames smaller than 24 inches or in low traffic areas, we recommend real glass. However, for larger frames or those in high traffic areas, acrylic custom framing is the safer option due to its durability and similarity to glass in terms of clarity.
